Yemeni Defense Minister to “Yemen Monitor”: The Moment of Decisiveness is Coming and Reclaiming Sana’a is an Inevitable Goal

Yemeni Defense Minister Taher al-Uqayli confirmed, in an exclusive statement to “Yemen Monitor,” that the battle to reclaim the state and recover the capital, Sana’a, is moving steadily toward achieving its goals, emphasizing that the sacrifices of the martyrs will remain the true fuel for the battle of national salvation.

Al-Uqayli explained that the road to Sana’a has become clear, and that the spirit left by the martyrs on the battlefields is still alive in the hearts of the fighters among the heroes of the Yemeni Army and tribesmen, who will form victory and reclaim state institutions from the grip of the Houthis.

He added that reclaiming Sana’a does not represent a military objective alone, but is a national battle to protect the Revolution and the Republic and to safeguard the achievements of the Yemeni people, for which immense sacrifices have been made, stressing that this battle will continue until its full objectives are realized.

He pointed out that loyalty to the blood of the martyrs requires moving forward in unifying ranks and enhancing readiness, leading up to the moment of decisiveness in which Yemen reclaims its state and institutions and inaugurates a new phase dominated by security and stability.

He concluded his statement by emphasizing that victory is coming through the will of the Yemenis, and that the Republic will remain steadfast despite all challenges.
