A member of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Governor of Hadramawt, Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, met today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the team of the Office of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen to discuss the latest security, political, and economic developments in Hadhramaut and Yemen, as well as efforts to enhance stability and normalize life.
According to the Governorate’s Media Center, the meeting addressed the current challenges facing Hadhramaut and ways to support peace efforts and improve living conditions and services, contributing to the enhancement of security and stability.
The meeting also touched upon the path of political negotiations and the Southern-Southern dialogue, emphasizing the importance of involving various southern components in this process to ensure broad agreements that support opportunities for peace and stability.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination and communication to serve comprehensive political solution paths and support UN efforts aimed at ending the crisis and achieving sustainable peace in Yemen.
