A massive fire broke out on Tuesday at the customs yard adjacent to the Container Port in the Mansoura district of Aden, resulting in the total destruction of two heavy trucks.
Local sources informed Yemen Monitor that the blaze erupted suddenly while the vehicles were parked in the designated waiting area within the customs facility. The exact cause of the ignition remains unknown.
Civil Defense teams rushed to the scene immediately after the alarm was raised. With the assistance of bystanders, firefighters managed to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby vehicles or port infrastructure.
According to preliminary reports, the incident caused significant material damage, leaving both trucks completely incinerated. No casualties or injuries among workers or passersby have been reported.
