Expanded Security and Military Meeting in Hadramawt to Discuss Situation and Enhance Coordination

An expanded security and military meeting was held in Hadramawt Governorate on Saturday, chaired by Presidential Leadership Council member and Governor of Hadramawt, Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi. The meeting included senior leadership from the governorate’s security and military apparatus, in the presence of Minister of Interior Major General Ibrahim Haidan and Commander of the Second Military Region Major General Muhammad Omar Al-Yamani.

The meeting discussed the security and military situation in Hadramawt, the readiness levels of various units, and an evaluation of existing coordination. Participants reviewed field plans and arrangements for the upcoming phase in light of the security challenges facing the governorate.

The session also addressed the latest security developments and efforts to bolster stability by improving cooperation and integration between security and military agencies in both the Coast and Valley (Wadi) regions of Hadramawt.

Attendees were briefed on a security report detailing the general situation in the governorate, measures taken to confront security challenges, and mechanisms for handling potential threats.

The meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination, unifying military and security efforts, and raising readiness to preserve security, stability, and the protection of citizens’ interests and public institutions. Additionally, the meeting reviewed the requirements of the security and military systems and ways to support and develop their capabilities to improve performance in the coming period.

The meeting was attended by the Directors of Security and Police for the Coast and Valley of Hadramawt, Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Jabri and Brigadier General Abdullah bin Hubaysh, along with several other senior officials, including the Deputy Director of Security and Police for the Hadramawt Valley, Brigadier General Ali Al-Sa’i.
