Chaired by “Al-Basar”… Meeting Discusses Completing the Removal of Military Camps from Aden

A military meeting held today, Saturday, in Aden discussed the completion of the security plan’s implementation, the progress of the handover process, and the removal of military camps from the temporary capital.

The meeting, chaired by Major General Ahmed Al-Basar Salem, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, and attended by several military leaders, addressed a range of important issues related to implementing the high-level orders and directives of the political and military leadership, represented by His Excellency the President of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff emphasized the importance of doubling efforts during the current stage, describing it as a “pivotal phase” that requires mobilizing resolve, working with a spirit of responsibility and high discipline, and providing a model for commitment to the orders issued by the political and military leadership.

Major General Ahmed Al-Basar Salem stated that the current stage necessitates working with greater vigor and seriousness, as well as enhancing coordination and integration between various military units and formations to ensure tasks are carried out efficiently, especially regarding joint missions with relevant authorities.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff praised the level of understanding between the military leaders of various components and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense. He stressed that this understanding—built on transparency and acceptance of others—forms a solid foundation for achieving the nation’s supreme interests, noting that the country is large enough for everyone and has no room for the exclusion or marginalization of any party.
