The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Djibouti announced its full support for all regional and international initiatives aimed at promoting peace, security, and stability in Yemen.
It emphasized the need for close cooperation among all Yemeni parties to avoid escalation and to work on resolving outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means.
Djibouti stressed its steadfast support for Yemen’s legitimate government, affirming its commitment to Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The Djiboutian Foreign Ministry explained that preserving national state institutions and safeguarding the resources of the Yemeni people are key necessities for achieving security, development, peace, and for ending Yemen’s suffering.
Djibouti also welcomed the statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding recent developments in Yemen, expressing appreciation for the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the legitimate government, to enhance security and advance de-escalation efforts and the political process.
Djibouti affirmed the importance of concerted Arab and international efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis—one that contributes to restoring stability in Yemen and the region and ensures the security of maritime navigation, particularly in the Red Sea.
