The Arab Parliament reiterated its confirmation of support for Yemen’s unity and sovereignty, and its backing for the legitimate government led by the Presidential Leadership Council. It emphasized that dialogue remains the most important path to overcome differences and protect Yemen’s national interest.
The Parliament expressed its appreciation for the role undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in containing tensions and working towards de-escalation, particularly in Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra provinces. It called on all parties to exercise restraint and prioritize the language of de-escalation.
It also pointed to the importance of the existing regional coordination among Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the Yemeni government in addressing security challenges, considering this cooperation a fundamental pillar for supporting stability efforts and pushing towards peace.
The Arab Parliament affirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at consolidating security, enhancing development, and improving the living conditions of the Yemeni people. It stressed that the continuation of coordination among the concerned parties represents a key factor for achieving lasting stability in Yemen.
