Foiled Bombing Plot Targeting the International Highway Between Marib and Al-Wadi’ah

Specialized security units affiliated with the Homeland Shield Forces have foiled a plot to detonate explosive devices along a sensitive stretch of the international highway linking Marib with Al-Abr and Al-Wadi’ah, in what was described as a preemptive operation aimed at securing traffic and protecting travelers.
According to the forces’ media center, inspection teams and military engineering units, following intensive sweep operations, were able to detect the planted explosive devices and safely dismantle them without any casualties, averting serious risks to users of the vital international road.
The Homeland Shield Forces command said the operation falls within a broader security plan to secure international roads and supply lines, and to confront any sabotage activities that threaten security and stability or endanger civilian lives.
The command emphasized continued high readiness and field vigilance, stressing that the forces will not tolerate any attempts to undermine road security or turn them into zones of threat, and that such acts will be dealt with firmly and in accordance with the law.
The forces concluded by affirming that the security situation along the international highway is stable and under control, urging citizens and travelers to cooperate by reporting any suspicious objects or movements, in order to enhance security and safeguard public safety.
