Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

The Trade Union Committee of Petromasila workers – Sector 14 affirmed on Tuesday its refusal to involve the oil sectors in any mobilization or escalation occurring in Hadhramaut (eastern Yemen).

In a statement received by Yemen Monitor, the committee stressed the necessity of keeping concession areas neutral and protecting the continuity of vital production operations, describing them as the lifeline of Hadhramaut’s economy.

The union emphasized the importance of prioritizing wisdom and calming existing disputes to preserve social peace and unity. It called for peaceful solutions to prevent damage to public property and facilities, particularly sensitive oil installations.

It also urged greater coordination between local authorities, tribal alliances, and community notables to ensure the return of stability and prevent any escalation that might threaten the security of the province.
