12 Houthi Elements Killed and Injured, and Escalating Combat Operations on Taiz Fronts

Combat fronts in Taiz province have witnessed an escalation between the national army forces and elements of the Houthi group on several fronts, resulting in the killing and injury of 12 elements of the Houthi group, while four army forces were killed and injured.
A military source told “Yemen Monitor” that the eastern front of Taiz city witnessed an escalation in the past few days, resulting in the killing and injury of a number of soldiers amid unusual movements by the militia on the northeastern front of the city.
The army forces in the Taiz axis announced the killing of four and the injury of at least eight elements of the Houthi group during separate battles and the thwarting of infiltration attempts witnessed on the Taiz fronts, while three army members were killed and a fourth was injured.
The media center of the Taiz military axis mentioned the Houthi escalation on the eastern and northeastern fronts of the city, and in the northern and northeastern rural areas.
It pointed to a wide escalation by the terrorist Houthi militia, involving intermittent clashes, sniping operations, and artillery shelling as part of desperate attempts to infiltrate and plant explosives.
