Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Sets 90-Day Review Period for Its Decisions Since 2022

The Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, in its meeting on Thursday, reaffirmed the unity and cohesion of its members and their adherence to the principles of partnership and collective leadership, in line with Resolution No. (9) of 2022 on the transfer of power and the formation of the council, as well as Resolution No. (119) of 2025 regulating its work along with the Consultation and Reconciliation Authority, and the legal and economic teams.

The Council emphasized the commitment of all its members to the principles of collective responsibility and consensus, as a means of strengthening the performance of the Council and its institutions.

The meeting decided to assign the legal team to review all decisions issued by the Council since 2022 up to the date of the statement, within a maximum period of 90 days, and to submit its recommendations to the Council for appropriate action.

The Council also directed the legal team to review the appointments issued by Council member Aidarous Al-Zubaidi during September 2025 and to urgently submit its findings.

Furthermore, the Council authorized the legal team to seek assistance from the military and security committee when reviewing decisions related to military and security affairs.
