Israel’s public broadcaster and the newspaper Israel Hayom reported on Friday that a drone crashed in the city of Eilat, and is believed to have been launched from Yemen. The drone struck a hotel directly on the Red Sea coast, causing plumes of smoke to rise from the site.
Following the incident, the Israeli army announced the postponement of a scheduled speech by the military spokesperson, without providing further details regarding possible casualties or damage.
