The US Embassy to Yemen has strongly condemned the Houthi group’s kidnapping of the crew members of the vessel “Eternity C” after they survived an attack on their ship.
In an official statement, the embassy clarified that the Houthis killed several crew members, then sank the ship, and obstructed rescue efforts before kidnapping the surviving crew members.
The US Embassy reiterated its demand for the immediate and unconditional release of the abducted crew members.
The statement emphasized that these terrorist acts committed by the Houthis justify the U.S.s’ classification of this group as a terrorist organization, as they continue to demonstrate their aggressive intentions to the entire world.
