Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf met with his Yemeni counterpart, Shayea Mohsen Al-Zandani, on Sunday in Istanbul.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
According to a statement from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting was dedicated to discussing the latest regional developments and their impact on Yemen.
During the meeting, Attaf reaffirmed Algeria’s commitment—particularly in its capacity as a member of the UN Security Council—to supporting efforts toward resolving the protracted crisis in Yemen.
