The Ministry of Finance in Yemen’s interim capital, Aden, announced today, Tuesday, that it has completed the necessary procedures for disbursing state employee salaries for April and May 2025. The ministry confirmed that the funds have been transferred to the Central Bank for disbursement before the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday.
This decision comes as part of efforts to alleviate the financial burden on employees and to consider the difficult living and economic conditions they face as the Eid approaches.
An official source at the ministry, in a statement to the official Yemeni News Agency, confirmed that all executive procedures have been finalized, noting that the funds have been sent to the Central Bank to ensure immediate payment.
The source clarified that the Ministry of Finance, with its leadership and branches, is intensifying efforts to ensure that salaries reach their beneficiaries in the liberated governorates as quickly as possible, thereby achieving financial stability for employees and meeting the demands of social occasions.
