Israeli Media: Houthi Missile Falls in Saudi Arabia as U.S. Envoy Arrives in Israel

Yemen Monitor – Newsroom:

Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that a missile launched by the Houthi group from Yemen fell on Saudi territory, coinciding with the arrival of U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff in Israel.

The authority clarified that the missile was launched on Monday morning as the envoy’s plane was landing at Ben Gurion Airport, but it failed to fly properly and fell within Saudi territory.

Meanwhile, an Israeli military spokesperson stated that the launch occurred following the issuance of an extraordinary evacuation notice for the three seaports under Houthi control in Yemen.

Reports indicated that the Houthis evacuated the ports of Hodaidah, Al-Salif, and Ras Issa shortly after the announcement. However, the timing of any potential attack remains unknown.
