Houthis Announce Targeting of Two U.S. Aircraft Carriers and a Site in “Israel”

Yemen Monitor | Newsroom:

The Houthi group announced on Friday that it had carried out a “dual military operation” targeting two US aircraft carriers and striking a military site in Tel Aviv, central “Israel,” a day after a U.S. attack on a Yemeni oil port that killed 74 people.

Earlier, Houthi-affiliated media reported that 74 people were killed and over 100 injured in U.S. airstrikes on Ras Issa port, including port workers and employees.

In a related development, the Israeli military announced it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen after issuing alerts across central Israel. Meanwhile, Hamas condemned the U.S. airstrikes, calling them a “war crime.”

U.S. Central Command had previously announced the destruction of the port as part of efforts to cut off funding to the Houthis, stating that the strikes aimed to halt the flow of illicit revenues supporting the group’s operations.
