Death Toll from US Airstrikes on Ras Issa Port Rises to 74, Over 100 Injured

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
Houthi-affiliated media quoted medical sources as saying that 74 people were killed and more than 100 injured in US airstrikes that targeted Ras Issa oil port in Al Hudaidah Governorate, western Yemen, on Thursday evening.
For its part, the US Central Command confirmed the destruction of the port as part of its efforts to cut off funding to the Houthis, noting that the strikes aim to stop the flow of illicit revenues that support the group’s operations.
In a related context, the Israeli occupation army announced the interception of a missile launched from Yemen after warnings in central “Israel,” while the Hamas movement condemned the US airstrikes and described them as a “war crime.”
This comes within the framework of a continuous escalation for months, as the Houthis continue their attacks on ships linked to “Israel,” while Washington responds with intensive airstrikes on the group’s positions.
