“MASAM” Announces Removal of 955 Mines and Unexploded Ordnance in Yemen Within a Week

The “Masam” project (Saudi government-affiliated) of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre announced the removal of 955 mines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices during the past week, bringing the total removed since the beginning of April to 1498.
In a press release published on its website, “Masam” explained that its teams have managed to clear 193,748 square meters of Yemeni land since the beginning of this month until the 11th.
The total number of mines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices removed since the project’s launch until April 11th has reached 487,606.
