Death of a Woman and Four Children in a House Collapse in Hajjah, Northwestern Yemen

A woman and four children from the same family, including three siblings, died on Sunday following the sudden collapse of their home in Hajjah Governorate (northwestern Yemen).
Local sources reported that a house suddenly collapsed on its residents in Uzlat al-Khotwah, belonging to Al-Jamimah District in Hajjah Governorate, leading to the death of a 35-year-old female citizen and four children who were inside the house at the time of the incident.
The sources indicated that local residents rushed immediately after the incident, which occurred at seven o’clock in the evening, to recover the bodies of the victims, who had passed away and could not be saved from under the rubble.
The sources listed the names of the victims as follows: Majeeda Ahmed Mastool (35 years old), Salah Ali Mastool (8 years old), Ahmed Abdu Mastool (6 years old), Murtadha Abdu Mastool (4 years old), and Raihana Abdu Mastool (2 years old).
The incident caused a state of grief, sorrow, and fear among the residents of the area, where residential buildings suffer from deterioration, leaving them in fear of the risks of similar collapses at any moment.
