Member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib, Sultan Al-Arada, emphasized today, Sunday, that building a strong and professional national military institution represents a strategic direction and a long-term vision for the state.
Al-Arada stressed the importance of training and qualification programs to enhance the readiness and efficiency of the armed forces, praising their sacrifices in defense of the homeland and the republic.
During his speech at the reception ceremony for the 18th batch of Command and Staff at the Higher Military Academy in Marib (eastern Yemen), Al-Arada explained that the country’s battle is not limited to field confrontations, but extends to raising awareness and institutional preparation. He pointed out that Yemen is facing exceptional circumstances that require concerted efforts to protect the state and its institutions.
For his part, the Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Army, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, stated that the opening of this course comes in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, praising the continuous operational and logistical support provided by the local authority in Marib to the military institution.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Supreme Council of the Higher Military Academy honored Presidential Leadership Council member Sultan Al-Arada by awarding him an honorary Master’s degree in Military Sciences, in appreciation of his pivotal role in supporting the armed forces and facilitating the tasks of educational and academic institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Defense.
