Yemen And Saudi Arabia Discuss Enhancing Advocacy Cooperation and Services for Pilgrims and Umrah Performers

The Minister of the Yemeni Ministry of Endowments and Guidance, Sheikh Turki Al-Wadei, discussed on Thursday in the city of Jeddah, with the Minister of the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, Sheikh Doctor Abdullatif Al-Asheikh, ways to enhance joint cooperation and coordination between the two countries in advocacy and awareness fields.

Minister Al-Wadei praised the continuous Saudi support for Yemen in various fields, emphasizing that the Kingdom has played an important role in supporting Yemen to overcome challenges and backing security and stability, in addition to the great services it provides to the guests of Allah coming from various countries around the world.

He emphasized the keenness of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance to benefit from the advocacy and awareness experiences and programs implemented by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, especially in the field of caring for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, reflecting the Kingdom’s leading position in serving Islam and Muslims.

For his part, the Saudi minister reaffirmed the Saudi leadership’s keenness to support the Republic of Yemen, stand by its people, and back everything that would achieve security, stability, and the unity of Yemen, pointing out the depth of the fraternal relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples.
