Houthis Carry Out New Attack on “Israel” … Tel Aviv Weighs Military Response Options

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Houthi group announced on Saturday the execution of a second attack on Israel using missiles and drones, as Israeli media revealed internal consultations to discuss a military response to the attacks.
The group’s military spokesman said in a statement that the attack targeted “vital and military sites” in southern Israel using cruise missiles and drones, noting that the operation falls under what the group describes as operations in support of resistance fronts in the region.
The statement added that the attack coincided with military operations carried out by other parties, affirming that the group will continue to carry out similar operations in the coming days.
In response, Israel’s Channel 13 reported that the Israeli army is holding discussions to examine the mechanism for responding to the Houthi attacks, amid security assessments suggesting the possibility of a direct military response.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation quoted an Israeli official as saying that the military will respond to the Houthis “forcefully,” stressing that the group “will pay the price.”
The Israeli occupation army had earlier announced the interception of a missile launched from Yemeni territory toward southern Israel, specifically toward the Beersheba and Negev areas, with no reported injuries or material damage.
The Houthi attack comes one month after the start of Israeli-American strikes on Iran.
