Conflict Escalates: Gulf Nations Targeted on 19th Day of Iran-US Confrontation

Several Gulf states witnessed missile and drone attacks attributed to Iran at dawn on Wednesday, a new development marking the nineteenth day of confrontations between the United States and Israel on one side, and Iran on the other.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait all announced they had been subjected to attacks, while Bahrain activated sirens and urged residents to head to safe locations without disclosing further details.
In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Defense stated that air defenses intercepted and destroyed nine drones in the Eastern Province, in addition to shooting down another drone as it approached the Diplomatic Quarter in the capital, Riyadh. A ballistic missile targeting Al-Kharj Governorate was also intercepted, with debris falling near Prince Sultan Air Base without any reported damage.
In Qatar, the Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces repelled a missile attack, providing no additional details.
As for the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems responded three times to missile and drone attacks, noting that sounds heard in various areas resulted from the interception of ballistic missiles and aircraft.
In Kuwait, the army announced that air defenses repelled “hostile” attacks, while the National Guard confirmed the shooting down of seven drones at vital sites under its protection.
