The High Committee for Hajj held a meeting to discuss the latest preparations related to the Hajj season for the year 1447 AH, chaired by the Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Sheikh Turki al-Wada’i, where reports on preparations and services provided to Yemeni pilgrims were reviewed.
The meeting addressed what has been accomplished in preparing housing for pilgrims, in addition to reviewing arrangements for field health services and plans related to ensuring the safety and comfort of pilgrims while performing the rituals.
The attendees also discussed the plan for awareness and guidance campaigns directed at pilgrims, which aim to familiarize them with the Hajj rituals and enhance awareness of health and organizational instructions, contributing to performing the rituals with ease and convenience.
The meeting also covered air transport arrangements for pilgrims and flight schedules, in addition to organizational aspects related to facilitating the movement and service of pilgrims during the season.
During the meeting, the Minister of Endowments and Guidance stressed the importance of intensifying efforts and following up on the implementation of the approved plans to ensure the provision of the best services to Yemeni pilgrims, emphasizing the need for continuous coordination between various sectors of the Ministry and relevant authorities for a successful Hajj season.
Al-Wada’i praised the efforts made by the Hajj and Umrah sector and all teams working on organizing pilgrim affairs, emphasizing the importance of full readiness for any emergency and working to provide the necessary services to ensure the comfort and safety of pilgrims throughout the Hajj season.
