Yemen Condemns Iranian Attacks on Saudi Arabia and Several Arab States

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

The Republic of Yemen has condemned in the strongest terms what it described as “flagrant” Iranian aggressions targeting the territories of Saudi Arabia and several brotherly Arab nations. Yemen considers these attacks a simplified violation of state sovereignty, the UN Charter, and the rules of international law, as well as a dangerous escalation threatening regional peace and security.

In a statement issued this Saturday, the Yemeni government affirmed its full and unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that the Kingdom’s security is an integral part of Yemen’s security. It stated that any infringement on Saudi sovereignty or stability constitutes a direct threat to Yemeni national security and the entire Arab system.

Furthermore, Sana’a (the government) announced its solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirming its support for all measures these countries take to protect their security, sovereignty, and stability. It stressed that the security of these brotherly nations is a fundamental pillar of the Arab security framework and that any attack on them threatens the future of regional stability.

The Yemeni government held the Iranian regime fully responsible for this escalation and its consequences, stating that the continuation of its policies—aimed at expanding the scope of confrontation through its tools and proxies—undermines the security of international waterways, threatens global energy supplies, and exposes the peoples of the region to the risks of a wide-scale confrontation.
