Shabwa Executive Office Renews Commitment to Presidential Leadership Directives

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Executive Office of Shabwa Governorate affirmed its full commitment to implementing the directives of the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council as a roadmap for strengthening institutional stability and improving service performance in the governorate.
This came during its regular meeting held today, Tuesday, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abdulrabboh Hashlah. The meeting discussed performance reports of the General Investment Authority and the Technical Industrial Institute, as well as plans to enhance the efficiency of financial and tax revenue collection.
The office praised the call by His Excellency President Rashad Al-Alimi to convene the Southern–Southern Dialogue Conference, expressing its appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s response to hosting the conference and for its continued support for Yemen.
The meeting also addressed the state of security and stability in Shabwa, stressing the need for combined security and community efforts to preserve these gains.
This affirmation comes amid the absence of the governor of the governorate, Awadh Al-Wazir Al-Awlaqi, who traveled to Riyadh following statements in which he said that there are governorates more in need of the deployment of the Nation’s Shield Forces than Shabwa, which is experiencing security and stability and therefore does not require such forces.
