Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramawt, Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, met today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the Executive General Manager of the Masila Petroleum Exploration and Production Company (PetroMasila), Engineer Mohammed bin Sumait. They discussed the company’s general status, its operational activity levels, and its efforts to provide petroleum products amid the economic challenges and exceptional circumstances facing the country.
The meeting addressed the pivotal role PetroMasila plays in supporting the national economy and the importance of maintaining stable production and operational processes. These efforts contribute to meeting domestic market needs and boosting public revenue. Additionally, they reviewed mechanisms for developing institutional performance and increasing operational efficiency to ensure the company’s sustainability and the protection of its assets.
The Governor of Hadramawt praised the prominent national role of PetroMasila as one of the fundamental pillars of the country’s oil sector. He commended its contributions to supporting the economy and supplying petroleum derivatives, emphasizing Hadramawt local authority’s commitment to supporting the company’s efforts and overcoming any difficulties it faces to ensure it can perform its vital duties to the fullest for the benefit of the governorate and the nation.
For his part, the Executive General Manager of PetroMasila expressed his appreciation for the support and oversight provided by the Presidential Leadership Council member and Governor of Hadramawt. He stated that this support serves as a significant incentive for the company’s management and employees to continue their work and achieve further success. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to its national duty, improving production and operation levels, and strengthening cooperation with relevant official bodies to help achieve stability and satisfy the market’s fuel needs.
