Civil Aviation Authority Announces Resumption of Operations at Al-Rayyan International Airport

The Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority in Yemen has announced the resumption of operations at Al-Rayyan International Airport in Mukalla, Hadramawt Governorate, starting next Sunday morning.
The Authority explained that the decision to resume operations follows the completion of technical rehabilitation work on several airport facilities. These upgrades ensure operational readiness, enhance aviation safety, and improve the quality of services provided to passengers and airlines.
Captain Saleh bin Nahid, Chairman of the Authority, emphasized that reopening the airport is a significant step toward boosting air traffic, facilitating citizen movement, and supporting economic activity in Hadramawt Governorate.
Bin Nahid expressed his gratitude to the political leadership, the government, Presidential Leadership Council member and Governor of Hadramawt Salem Al-Khanbashi, and the leadership of the Ministry of Transport. He also extended thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all technical and administrative teams that contributed to the rehabilitation efforts and the return of scheduled flights.
