Naif Al-Bakri Calls on the People of Aden to Preserve the Capital’s Security and Stability and Protect State Institutions

Naif Saleh Al-Bakri, Minister of Youth and Sports and Head of the Resistance Leadership Council in Aden, as well as a member of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, on Wednesday addressed a message of greeting and appreciation to the people of the capital, Aden, praising their national awareness and heroic role in the battles to liberate the city in 2015.
Al-Bakri pointed to the great sacrifices made by the people of Aden in order to restore the state and the dignity of the homeland and to defeat the Houthi militia, stressing that this legacy of struggle is what today drives continued efforts to safeguard state institutions and adhere to the spirit of national responsibility.
In his address, he called on the people of Aden to reject acts of looting, theft, and attacks on public and private property, emphasizing the need to unite efforts to preserve the security and stability of the capital and to prevent any attempts to undermine public order or spread chaos.
He said that Aden, which was liberated with the blood of its sons, deserves everyone’s commitment to keeping it strong and safe so that it remains the capital of the state and the republican system, expressing his hope that God will protect Aden and its people.
This appeal comes amid the security and political challenges facing the capital, highlighting the role of the resistance and civil society in strengthening stability and preserving national gains.
