Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, congratulated the people of Hadramawt and Al-Mahra, the leadership of their local authorities, and the heroes of the Nation’s Shield Forces (Dir’ Al-Watan) on the success of the “Camp Handover” operation. He emphasized that what has been achieved represents a decisive step in consolidating the state option and the rule of law.

The President praised the speed and efficiency of the operation’s execution, as well as the accompanying security measures and responsible coordination. He noted that these efforts contributed to solidifying security, stability, and preserving civil peace. Al-Alimi stressed that this success reflects the local communities’ rallying around state institutions and opens the way for a new phase of resuming services and improving living conditions.

Al-Alimi asserted that the restoration of security in Hadramawt and Al-Mahra marks the inauguration of a promising phase of development and reconstruction. He expressed confidence in the support of regional brothers and international friends for infrastructure and service projects, aimed at creating an attractive environment for investment and providing job opportunities.

He called upon all political and social forces and components to move past side conflicts, devote themselves to state-building, and implement the priorities of the transitional period—foremost of which is the reorganization of forces under the umbrella of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, while extending state influence and the rule of law across the entire national territory.

The Chairman of the PLC commended the responsible role of the leadership in Hadramawt and Al-Mahra for managing the stage with wisdom and prioritizing the public interest. He also praised the efforts of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its decisive role in securing the operation, de-escalating tensions, protecting civilians, and completing the mission in accordance with international laws and norms.

The President reaffirmed the State’s commitment to a just and comprehensive solution for the Southern issue within a national institutional framework that is based on the popular will and addresses past grievances, ensuring coexistence, security, stability, and the unity of the national fabric.

He concluded by stressing that the future belongs to the State and institutional work, and that today’s achievements prove that Yemenis, when united behind the State and the Law, are capable of achieving victory and building a secure and stable Yemen.
