Al-Ghaydah axis in Al-Mahra Governorate witnessed an airstrike targeting sites belonging to the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias after they refused to hand over the axis and leave their positions.
A military source stated that the strike, described as a warning, led to the mass flight of personnel from the forces who had refused to withdraw, amidst escalating tensions in the region.
According to the source, military aircraft resumed airstrikes over Al-Mahra’s airspace following the refusal of the same formations to withdraw from the Al-Ghaydah axis unless their conditions—which included the use of heavy weapons—were met. This demand was rejected by the leadership of the “Shield of the Nation” forces, which insists on a complete and unconditional withdrawal.
