Jordan Follows Developments in Yemen, Appreciates Efforts of Saudi Arabia and UAE for Its Stability

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed Jordan’s close monitoring of developments in the situation in brotherly Yemen, while emphasizing its full support for all efforts aimed at de-escalation and strengthening Yemen’s security, sovereignty, stability, and realizing the aspirations of its people.
The official spokesperson for the Ministry, Ambassador Fuad Al-Majali, expressed Jordan’s appreciation for Saudi Arabia and the UAE’s commitment to Yemen’s security, stability, and sovereignty. He praised the two countries’ approach to the current situation and their handling of issues in a manner that ensures Yemen’s security and meets its people’s aspirations.
Al-Majali commended the wisdom of the leadership of the two countries in dealing with Yemeni events, viewing their approach as an embodiment of their historical stances and their ongoing efforts for the security and interests of the region, while strengthening the values of brotherhood, partnership, and Arab solidarity.
He stressed Jordan’s firm position in supporting Yemeni legitimacy and all efforts seeking a comprehensive political solution that provides Yemen with a secure and stable future, fulfills the aspirations of its people, protects the security of brotherly Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s neighbors, and enhances regional security and stability.
