The Hadramawt Protection Forces, led by Major General Mubarak al-Oubthani, managed on Wednesday to regain control of the Nahab Camp following a military campaign involving the Hadrami Elite (Al-Nukhba Al-Hadramiya) forces.
In a televised speech following the liberation of the site, Major General al-Oubthani stated that the Hadrami Elite constitutes an integral part of the Hadramawt Protection Forces, emphasizing the cohesion of these units within the framework of joint security efforts.
The camp, which had been under the control of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia, had witnessed a period of tension and armed conflict between various factions. The recovery of the camp reflects progress toward restoring security and stability in Hadramawt.
According to military sources, the operation was carried out with field and logistical support from various security units seeking to maintain the unity and security of the governorate.
