Marib Security and Military Committee Affirms Full Support for President Al-Alimi’s Decisions, Declares State of Emergency

The Security and Military Committee in Marib Governorate held an extraordinary meeting chaired by Presidential Leadership Council member Sultan Al-Aradah, during which it affirmed its absolute support for all decisions issued by President Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, including the declaration of a state of emergency across the entire territory of the Republic.
The committee explained that these decisions fall within the necessary sovereign measures to enhance security and safeguard the unity and sovereignty of the nation in light of the current developments. It affirmed its full commitment to implementing all directives issued by the top leadership to ensure national stability and protect citizens.
The committee praised the exceptional efforts made by President Al-Alimi over the past weeks to contain the escalation and address emerging issues since the beginning of this month. It also commended the significant efforts and steadfast support provided by Saudi Arabia to the Yemeni state and its legitimate leadership, expressing deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts in supporting the Yemeni people throughout different historical stages.
The committee announced directives for all military and security units to raise their level of readiness to the maximum, enhance coordination and integration among them to ensure rapid response to any emergency, and stressed the importance of heightened alertness and vigilance on all fronts. It also called for intensifying security patrols and strengthening deployment across various areas to consolidate stability and maintain public order.
The committee urged all citizens to demonstrate awareness and a sense of responsibility, cooperate with military units and security agencies, and comply with instructions and decisions issued by the competent authorities, in order to help overcome this exceptional phase and preserve security and stability.
