Humanitarian Relief Organization Distributes Food Aid to 172 Displaced Families in Marib

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

172 displaced families in Marib Governorate have benefited from food aid provided as part of a humanitarian intervention carried out by the Access Humanitarian Organization, aimed at supporting affected families and alleviating their living hardships.

The organization clarified that it distributed comprehensive food baskets containing essential food items, targeting displaced families in Wadi District. The aid was funded by the Humanitarian Relief and Human Rights and Freedoms Foundation (IHH), as part of efforts to secure a portion of the daily food needs for the most vulnerable families.

This intervention comes amid the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the displaced, especially during winter, as families grapple with severe shortages of food supplies and rising living costs, further exacerbating challenges within displacement camps.

The Access Humanitarian Organization affirmed that this aid contributes to enhancing food security for the beneficiary families and falls within its relief programs aimed at responding to urgent humanitarian needs, in partnership with supporting entities, foremost among them the Humanitarian Relief and Human Rights and Freedoms Foundation (IHH).
