Yemeni Defense Ministry Receives Aid Convoy from Jordanian Army

The Yemeni Ministry of Defense today received a convoy of food aid provided by the Jordanian Armed Forces, within the framework of humanitarian support and fraternal solidarity between the two countries.
Brigadier General Yahya Abu Hatem, the Military Attaché at the Yemeni Embassy in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, stated that Jordan continues to stand by the Yemeni people through various stages. He praised the initiative presented by the leadership of the Jordanian Armed Forces and expressed his appreciation for this support directed to the Yemeni Army.
For his part, Brigadier General Ali Ahmed Al-Qadiri, Deputy Director of the Supply and Logistics Department of the Yemeni Army, welcomed those overseeing the convoy. He considered this step an extension of Jordan’s supportive positions toward Yemen, conveying the greetings of the Ministry of Defense and the Chief of General Staff to the leadership of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and valuing its role in supporting Arab humanitarian issues.
Al-Qadiri, on behalf of the Yemeni people, expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, his Crown Prince, and the Jordanian people for this humanitarian initiative and for standing with the Yemenis during difficult circumstances.
In the same context, the website of the Jordanian Armed Forces mentioned that the convoy comes under the direct directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, affirming the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts and strengthening Arab solidarity.
