Yemeni Presidential Council Emphasizes Enhancing Combat Readiness and Praises Sacrifices

The Presidential Leadership Council, in its meeting today chaired by Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, affirmed the high combat readiness of the armed forces and security forces, praising the immense sacrifices made by the heroes in defending dignity and the republican system.
The Council listened to a comprehensive operational report from the Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Higher Security Committee, which addressed the level of troop readiness across various fronts and axes, as well as the dismantling of terrorist cells.
The Council commended the success of the security agencies in dismantling numerous terrorist cells linked to the Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime, as well as the criminal organizations collaborating with them, thereby thwarting their sabotage plans.
The Presidential Leadership Council expressed its profound appreciation for all military and security formations, reaffirming the state’s continued full support to strengthen the combat fronts and security efforts aimed at achieving victory and restoring stability.
The Presidential Leadership Council renewed its full support for the government’s comprehensive reform efforts and its commitment to transparency, accountability, and anti-corruption standards. It noted the noticeable improvement in the national currency’s position and the prices of basic goods, emphasizing the importance of moving forward to consolidate the achieved gains as a crucial step toward improving living conditions and enhancing confidence with the donor community.
The Council also reiterated its high appreciation for the ongoing fraternal support of the recovery plan and reform program by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as their developmental and humanitarian interventions in various fields.
The Presidential Leadership Council expressed its immense pride and gratitude for the sacrifices of the heroes of the armed forces and security agencies, and all military formations, in defending dignity and the republican system. It praised the high combat readiness to deter the threats posed by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime and the criminal organizations collaborating with them.
The meeting was attended by its members Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, and via video conference, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, Sultan Al-Arada, Abdulrahman Al-Mahrami, and Faraj Al-Bahsani, as well as the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense. Council members Tariq Saleh and Othman Majli were excused from attending.
