Security Committee in Abyan Emphasizes Enhancing Coordination Between Security and Military Agencies to Address Challenges

The Security Committee in Abyan Governorate confirmed this Thursday the enhancement of coordination between security and military agencies through the operations room, to address the security challenges facing the provincial capital and its districts.
Presided over by Abyan Governor Major General Abubakr Hussein, and in the presence of Assistant Deputy Minister of Interior for Police Operations Affairs Major General Ahmed Ali Masoud, the Security Committee discussed the efforts of security agencies in controlling the security situation and confronting the terrorist and sabotage acts carried out by terrorist elements colluding with the Houthi militia.
The meeting approved a number of measures to maintain security and stability, including a security plan to protect all government administrative and security facilities, with the participation of all security and military formations in the governorate, and enhancing coordination between security and military agencies.
