Houthis Release Yemeni Employees but Continue to Occupy Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Headquarters in Sana’a

Yemen Monitor –Newsroom:
Journalist Faris Al-Hemyari revealed that Houthi security forces continue to maintain their presence, for the second consecutive day, inside the headquarters of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) located in the diplomatic district of Sana’a, the Yemeni capital.
According to Al-Hemyari, the Houthis released five Yemeni employees who had been detained inside the organization’s compound since Tuesday morning, after subjecting them to intense and lengthy security interrogations that lasted throughout yesterday and last night.
The continued Houthi security deployment inside the international medical and humanitarian organization’s premises, despite the release of the detained staff, marks an escalation that raises questions about the motives and objectives behind it.
