Local sources reported on Sunday that security forces affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council (STC) detained a local government official in the interim capital, Aden, which is under the STC’s security and military control.
The sources stated that the detainee is Sameh Saif, the Director of Sewage in the Sheikh Othman district. He was apprehended while carrying out his daily work on Sunday morning.
According to the sources, the security force transported Saif to prison without disclosing the reasons for the arrest or providing any further details regarding the incident.
