Yemeni Journalists’ Syndicate Mourns Media Professional and Academic Ahmed Zain Bahameed

The branch of the Yemeni Journalists’ Syndicate in the Hadramawt, Shabwa, Al-Mahra, and Socotra governorates, with faith in God’s decree and will, mourns the prominent media professional and academic, Mr. Ahmed Zain Bahameed, who passed away on Thursday in the city of Al-Mukalla.

The deceased – may God have mercy on him – was a member of the Journalists’ Syndicate, a professor of media at the University of Hadramawt, and a figure who presented a distinguished career in the fields of education, media, and community work.

The Syndicate noted in its obituary that Bahameed was “a model of good character, commitment, and professional mission,” describing him as “one of the honest voices that sincerely contributed to entrenching the values of responsible media and meaningful discourse.”

The obituary also affirmed the deceased’s dedication to educating generations of media professionals, his profound humility, and his extensive participation in social and reform initiatives that enriched the community.
