Israeli Occupation Army Announces Interception of Drone Launched from Yemen

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Israeli Occupation Army (IDF) announced on Wednesday evening that it had intercepted a drone launched from Yemen over the city of Eilat, which overlooks the Red Sea coast (south), without activating air raid sirens.
In a statement on its account on the American platform “X” (formerly Twitter), the occupation army said: “The Air Force intercepted a short while ago a drone that was launched from Yemen.”
It pointed out that “air raid sirens were not activated in accordance with the standard policy.”
The official Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation stated that an Israeli Air Force fighter jet shot down a Houthi drone that originated from Yemen before it could enter the city of Eilat.
Last Wednesday, 50 Israelis were injured, including 3 seriously, as a result of a drone launched from Yemen that fell near a hotel in Eilat, after the Israeli occupation army failed to intercept it.
