Yemeni Parties Bloc Discusses Current Challenges to Restoring the State and Ending the Coup

The Supreme Council of the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components held a meeting today, chaired by Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr, head of the Shura Council and the Supreme Council. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss recent developments in Yemen and the challenges facing the effort to restore the state and end the coup.

In his address, Bin Daghr emphasized the importance of national unity and cohesion during this critical phase. He stressed the need for a unified effort among legitimate components and for fostering a spirit of cooperation to achieve victory.

The meeting also explored ways to strengthen the National Bloc’s relationship with international organizations, particularly the National Democratic Institute (NDI). The goal is to build effective partnerships that support democracy and human rights and help convey the voice of the Yemeni people to international forums.

The members of the Supreme Council reaffirmed their commitment to continuing diplomatic and political efforts to enhance the presence of national forces on the international stage. They also plan to present practical visions that will contribute to ending the suffering of Yemenis and restoring the state to its fundamental role as a pillar of security and stability in the region.
