Houthis Announce Ballistic Missile and Drone Attack on Israel

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Houthi group announced on Tuesday evening that it had carried out two military operations targeting an Israeli site in the Tel Aviv area and Ramon Airport in Eilat.
In a statement, the group’s military spokesperson said their forces “carried out a special military operation with a hypersonic ballistic missile of the Palestine-2 type, which targeted a sensitive Israeli site in occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv),” claiming that “the operation achieved its goal successfully and caused millions of Zionist settlers to flee to shelters.”
He added that their forces “also carried out another military operation targeting what is known as Ramon Airport in the Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) area of southern occupied Palestine,” stressing that “the operation hit its target successfully.”
Meanwhile, Israel’s Home Front Command announced that sirens had sounded in Tel Aviv, wide areas to its east, and in settlements south of the West Bank and west of Jerusalem.
Flight tracking websites showed that flights were suspended at Ben Gurion Airport following the launch of a missile from Yemen.
Earlier on Tuesday, Israel had bombed Hudaidah Port in western Yemen, with Hebrew media reporting 12 airstrikes.
