Hadramout Governor Mabkhout bin Madi announced that the Yemeni government has approved a project to establish a crude oil refinery, storage tanks, and a free zone at Al-Dhabba Port, with a production capacity of 25,000 barrels per day.
During his chairmanship of the Executive Office meeting in Al-Wadi, Bin Madi explained that the project represents a significant leap in the path of economic development for the governorate and Yemen as a whole. He stated that it will contribute to providing new job opportunities and stimulating investment and commercial activity.
The governor affirmed that the ongoing government reforms are the actual beginning of economic recovery, calling for these steps to be protected and utilized to serve citizens and improve their standard of living.
He noted that the local authorities are working according to a clear plan to enhance security stability and prevent the entry of weapons, thereby creating a safe environment to attract investments and implement strategic projects.
