The Public Electricity Corporation in Hadramawt Coast announced Tuesday that the ongoing power outage in several areas of Mukalla since 3 p.m. was caused by a malfunction in the 33 kV transmission line supplying Joule Masaha, Al-Harashiyat, and Al-Qaqin districts.
In a statement, the corporation confirmed that technical teams quickly rushed to the site of the fault and are carrying out continuous maintenance work to restore electricity to the affected areas as soon as possible.
The electricity authority called on residents to understand the emergency circumstances, affirming its commitment to addressing sudden malfunctions and ensuring service stability.
