Under the separatist flag, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, a member of the Yemeni Presidential Council and head of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held discussions with Colonel Awad bin Hamoud al-Otuibi, the assistant commander of the Saudi Task Force. The talks focused on enhancing military and security cooperation.
The meeting also addressed ways to bolster field efforts to protect security and stability in the capital, Aden, and other liberated areas. Additionally, they discussed developing training and qualification programs to improve the readiness of military and security forces.
Al-Zubaidi praised Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role and continuous support in military and security fields, emphasizing the importance of continued joint coordination to confront challenges that threaten regional security.
For his part, Colonel Al-Otuibi affirmed the Saudi Task Force command’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with field forces to maintain security and military achievements.
