Foreign exchange rates against the Yemeni rial saw a slight decline during today’s trading.
Banking sources said the US dollar reached 1,617 rials, while the Saudi riyal recorded 425 rials.
The Yemeni rial had seen a temporary improvement in recent hours, with the dollar dropping to 1,580 rials and the Saudi riyal to 400 rials, before prices rose again amidst continuous fluctuations in the local exchange market.
This currency fluctuation reflects an ongoing state of instability in the market, with clear effects on the Yemeni economy amid the current political and economic conditions.
