Yemen Monitor – Newsroom:

Naqil Bani Salamah area in Dhamar Governorate—linking the provinces of Al-Hudaidah, Raymah, and Dhamar—witnessed a disaster yesterday as torrential floods, triggered by heavy rainfall, swept through the region.

Local sources reported that the floods and resulting rockslides led to the death of a woman, damage to several vehicles, and the death of large numbers of sheep and livestock.

Rescue teams from Al-Manar and Jabal Al-Sharq districts managed to recover the body of 35-year-old Amina Ali Al-Sharhi, who was swept away by the floods from the village of Al-Haddah in Bani Salamah to the Saylah of Wadi Habab—a distance of 3 to 4 kilometers.

The floods also caused rockslides that blocked roads, along with substantial material losses in vehicles passing through the area and the death of many livestock in the affected villages.
